Carol stood on her tiptoes to place the last ornament on the tree. Every year she enjoyed decorating the tree, but this year was even more fun. She rose up on one foot, well aware that both Mack and Tara appreciated the view of her skirt riding high up over her ass and showing off her thong.

The evening had gone even better than planned. Once Tara showed up in a short skirt, dark hose and a garter belt, she’d had absolutely no doubt how this Christmas Eve would end. Carol stood back from the tree and surveyed the room. Mack had a low warming fire going in the fireplace. She’d placed two of her heaviest throw rugs on the floor and scattered pillows about which she knew would come in handy later. She glanced at Mack and Tara sitting on the floor with their backs to the couch. All was ready. She knew—they all knew—there was no need for seduction, yet no one seemed to want to rush the night along, either.

“Time for exchanging gifts,” she said. “Is everyone ready?”

“Of course,” Tara said. “The tree is so beautiful. You’ve done a fabulous job of preparing this whole room. The candles have such pleasant pungent scent.” Tara peeked at Mack. “Definitely ready over here.”

“Never been more ready for exchanging gifts, Carol,” Mack said. “You have us all primed. Can hardly wait to start the unwrapping.”

“Hmm,” Carol responded, “some gifts will take longer to unwrap than others. I don’t think any of them require running out to get batteries. Let’s begin. I will be the bearer of the gifts.”

Both Tara and Mack nodded, as if not surprised by that revelation.
